A credit card is required to secure your booking. Payment of stay is made on arrival (excludes New Year Peak season, for additional terms, see below).
In the event that you do not show up to honour your booking - your credit card is then charged for the first night and booking cancelled. Cancellation is required before 2pm, 48 hours before arrival (see our cancellation policy below).
All credit card/international transactions will incur a 1.5% surcharge. (There are ATMs very close to Maze, to obtain cash)
AMEX/Travellers Cheques / Cheques are not accepted.
Guests staying in shared dorms MUST present valid Passport upon Check-in. Failure to present valid documents will result in denied check-in with no refund.
All Guests staying in private rooms to present photo ID (Drivers Licence, Passport or Government issued Proof of Age card). Failure to provide valid documents will result in denied check-in with no refund.
A $20 key deposit is required from EVERY guest and will be returned to you upon check-out before 10am.
Driver's Licenses or Passports will not be accepted as key deposit.
Guests only inside the building, sorry NO visitors.
No guests under 18
No food allowed in rooms, water is permitted.
Checkout time is before 10am and check-ins are any time after 2pm.
Please note if booking more than 1 person into a dorm room, we cannot guarantee you will be in the same room. We will however try our best.
There is a strict NO refund policy so should you decide to cancel and have paid for your reservation/accommodation at any time, we cannot issue a refund. This includes peak periods such as prepaid New Year bookings.
Any breach of the law (including smoking laws) will result in accommodation being cancelled immediately- with no refund.
Shared rooms are available for backpacker travelers, maximum luggage (1 large bag and 1 medium sized bag)
48 hour notice is required for all other cancellations prior to check in. Bookings should be cancelled by 2pm two days before arrival.
All No Shows will incur a 1 night (first night) charge per our cancellation policy.

New Year Package - Terms & Conditions
If you stay between 27th December & 4th of January a minimum stay of 7 nights is required.
All New Year reservations are to be held by Credit Card and will be charged in full at any time between 1st December and date of arrival.
Cut-off date for Free New Years cancellations is up until 30th November ONLY.
Please ensure that your funds are available during that time and any credit cards that decline, will have their reservations cancelled.
By proceeding with this booking you are giving permission for your card to be charged as per above and that you are the authourised cardholder.
You will need to provide your same credit card at check in, for verification of booking.
Please ensure your email address is current so we can contact you, if needed.
Any cancellations made after the 30th November (after payment has been charged), will incur a penalty equal to the full amount of reservation.
We have a strict 'no refund' company policy.
Bookings of more than 6 guests are considered a "group".
In order to provide your group accommodation requirements, please fill out the group form.
Any group booking which has not been authorised in advance, or has been made by several individuals/separate bookings to make it appear as though it is not a group “ can be cancelled or denied at any time" in advance or on arrival. We recommend following our group bookings procedure and filling out a group request.
Any bookings of 5 guests in a 6 share dorm will not be guaranteed to be together and should you purchase the 6th bed/complete room, we will endeavour to provide you with a 6 share dorm to yourselves - however, at times this is not always possible.
