I’m under 18 can I stay at Maze?

NO! At Maze we pride our-self on being a fun, lively place to stay and play. You must be 18 and over to stay with us.

Where can I get internet access?

Wireless Internet access is available, just ask us at Reception. 

Where can I book a day tour and trips?

See reception & we will happily assist you with making your booking, or providing you with any information.  We have cheaper access to the Blue Mountains, Sea Life Centre, Madame Tussauds and Sky Tower

Where is the nearest grocery store?

There is a HUGE supermarket which is so close to us! Just turn left out the door, walk up to the lights, keep walking straight ahead into World Square and you’ll find COLES located downstairs. It takes you less than a minute to get there! Just pick up a zip back from the check out to store your items easily in the kitchen.

What time is check in & check out?

Check in is daily from 2pm (we need time to clean the place it's very BIG) & check out is before10:00am. While every effort is made to have your room available at this time, during high occupancy and peak periods there may be delays. We do provide free storage facilities, so you can start exploring Sydney or wait in our TV room & chill out*. Check out is before 10am, we do not have late check outs but you are welcome to extend another night depending on availability. 

*You are in the best city in the world so we would hope you want to head out to see Sydney, it's more attractive than staying indoors.

What kitchen facilities do you have?

We have a very large kitchen, it is a great place to meet new people whilst having a cook off.  All cutlery and plates are provided. We just kindly ask that you wash them up and don’t take them to your room.  We have fridges available, just buy a zip up bag from Coles (the BIG supermarket) to store your items.

I’m travelling on my own, is it easy to meet new people?

Ha Ha of course! Maze caters for the individual traveler, let our friendly check in staff know you are a bit shy.  We’ll point you to our Entertainments Hosts that will ensure you are welcomed with open arms, WE LOVE HUGS! Please note, Maze has suspended some services which may include entertainment team.

Where is best to park?

Ideally don’t bring a car! There is no street parking near by. Any parking will be EXPENSIVE. There is a car park by Capitol Theatre Approx $35 overnight ask reception to validate your ticket before you pay.

Do you have Security as you are so central?

We have in house security every night, you will have to activate your access card to gain access to the hostel at all times.  ALL guests will have paid a $20 key deposit on check in, We have 24 hour reception so come have a chat if there is anything on your mind.  There is a strict NO VISITOR policy, this is to keep all of our guests safe and secure.

Can I bring visitors?

Nooooooooo. Non residents are not allowed in the building.  But if we have availability they can book a bed and become a guest too and join the fun.
