From Sydney Central Train Station / Interstate Bus Terminal

It is only a 5 minute walk:

1. Exit onto corner of Eddy Avenue and Pitt Street, Sydney

2. Turn right onto Pitt Street and walk towards the City for 2 blocks

3. We are on the left hand side past Campbell St

From Sydney Airport

1. Shuttle Bus

• Cost is $12 one way.
• Pick-up is FREE if you have booked 3 or more night's accommodation with us! **
• Our driver will pick you up and take you directly to our front door.
• Call us on our Freecall Number on arrival: 1800 813 522 and we'll sort out the rest.
• We'll be asking you what you're wearing, just so it's easier for our drivers to come & find you!

  After you have called us, this is where you will need to stand so the driver can find you
  • INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL: Wait at The Meeting Point which is located on the ground floor of the Arrival section. It's a big blue wall with seats in front of it. "The Meeting Point" is displayed in large orange writing. It's situated right in front of a Currency Exchange booth & is closest to the Arrival North section. If you are at the Meeting Point near the McDonalds then you are in the WRONG PLACE.
  • DOMESTIC TERMINAL: For both Qantas & Virgin domestic terminals go to Baggage Claim Carousel # 5 after you have collected your luggage and wait there next to the carousel and make sure you are inside the terminal. Our drivers should be there within 15-20 minutes. Please be patient during peak-hour times and wait at the meeting point
  • **Our shuttle bus operates between 4:55am - 7:30pm. If you arrive into Sydney outside these times, call our Reception staff on 1800 813 522 for advice on your cheapest transport options

2. Train

• Cost is $14 one way & leaves every 10mins
• Take the green line to Central Station, approx 10 minutes
• We are then a quick 5 minute walk from Central, directions as above

3. Taxi

• Consider this option if there are 3 or more people as it will be the cheapest!
• A taxi ride will cost about $35 to the hostel and will take approx 20 minutes depending on traffic
• Ask the driver to go via O’Riordan St & Redfern as this is the quickest way

By Car

• Get onto Pitt Street, which is one of the major roads in Sydney (runs parallel to George Street)
• We are located at the Central Station end of Pitt Street (between Goulburn & Campbell Streets)
• There is no direct parking at The Maze, but there are a few secure parking stations nearby. Try 36 Campbell Street – there's a carpark there open from 8am to Midnight. Cost is $5 per hour Mon - Fri. Max $20 per day. Weekends & Public Holidays $5 per hour with a Max of $15 per day.
• Discounted Parking - located off the laneway just a few shops down from our front door, opposite 7-11. Drive down this laneway, and then take your first left. You will then see the carpark! Normally $25 per day, a stamped MAZE ticket will get you a reduced rate of $20 per day during the week, and $10 on weekends.
